Clean Up Your LinkedIn Page, Because It Probably Stinks

Is your LinkedIn profile picture one of you fishing? Do you list every little promotion you get in your stream of experience? Then you’ve got some learning to do when it comes to using social media.

Will Harris, managing director of Willpower Consultation, delivered an eye-opening keynote last month at Channel Partners Evolution on behalf of Verizon.

While the examples above might seem silly, a poorly constructed LinkedIn page these days can cost you business.

“If you’ve been in the same company ever since God made dirt, you don’t have to say it every time you get a little bitty promotion. Nobody wants to read all that mess,” he said.
