AT&T, Verizon Help Customers Connect with Philippines

The carrier won’t charge its postpaid customers for long-distance calls made from a wireless number in the U.S., Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands to the Philippines between Nov. 8 and Nov. 30. Texts to the Asian nation will also be free.
