Product announcements are getting scarcer as we approach the winter break.

Several stories about new offerings came out of vendors’ annual conferences. Cisco announced new collaboration capabilities at its Las Vegas Partner Summit. AT&T followed up on a security acquisition by giving partners full access to the new offerings at its Fusion Conference. AWS used its re:invent show to dole out innumerable enhancements to its cloud computing portfolio.
