Security was a hot topic at the general session.
It’s been estimated that the cost of cybersecurity crime will reach $2 trillion annually and spending on IT security solutions will reach $1 trillion over the next four years. Ingram Micro ONE: Gen. Michael Hayden
General Michael Hayden, former director of the CIA and NSA, outlined the global picture of cybersecurity and cybersecurity threats.
He noted that in the face of inevitable cyberattacks, the challenge for vendors is in discovery, resilience and recovery. Hayden also told the audience at the keynote that it’s the private sector that will protect and keep businesses safe, and not the government — from the perspective of day-to-day threats.
Ingram Micro ONE: Women in Tech
