The winnings from the Spring 2007 Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Las Vegas are still rolling in.
McLeodUSA recently awarded a Sony VAIO laptop computer to Matt Otis, co-founder of Allied Communication in Denver. The laptop was presented to Otis this week in Denver by Greg Osborne, McLeodUSAs director of agent sales.
McLeodUSA had invited agents to drop by its booth at the Channel Partners show to register for the drawing; and entrants could double their chances by logging onto the companys Web site for additional registration.
McLeodUSA decided to do this drawing to draw attention to its active agent recruitment effort. “We did this promotion because we want people to know that there’s a new McLeodUSA, said John Dumbleton, group vice president for wholesale services and indirect channels at McLeodUSA. We especially wanted to let agents know that we’re very interested in them and to get a chance to talk with them about our exciting and growing line of IP-based services.”
