Getting Away at XOs 2007 MVP Award Event

By Geoff Shepstone, president, Telecom Brokerage Inc.

On Feb. 21-24, XO held its Club MVP trip at Atlantis Resort & Casino at Paradise Island, Bahamas.

To qualify a partner had to sell at least $75,000 in XO services from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2007, to become a Club MVP member. Those who reached this prestigious status were invited to join senior XO executives on an exclusive, all-expense-paid getaway trip to the incredible Atlantis Resort. Additional trips could be earned. The more you sold, the more Club MVP trips you earn for each of your partners. For example, $75,000-$99,999 earned one trip for a partner and a guest; More than $200,000 in sales earned four trips for partners and guests.

Twenty of the top producing master agents as well as a few of the top producing master’s top agents were hosted. TBI and CDW, one of TBI’s most valued partners, were among the group.

Organized events were held to a minimum, allowing participants time to relax and enjoy the destinations. The 2007 event started with an informal reception Thursday night. Friday during the day most attendees spent time enjoying the beach and 80-degree weather. Having left Chicago when it was 8 below zero without wind chill, made the trip a great break from the most severe winter in Chicago in more than 10 years. Friday night’s event centered around XO executives addressing the group, followed by awards.

Guests had Saturday and Sunday to themselves. XO allowed $1,000 per couple so we could TRULY enjoy the resort. Time was spent by all shopping in the many stores, eating in the incredible restaurants, massages, spa days, lounging by the pool and beach, but best of all, building stronger friendships with our partners, XO executives, and friends.

Thank you XO for this wonderful tropical getaway and reward.
