At its fourth annual Tee & Sea channel partner event in May, World Telecom Group named the winners of its Partner Perks contest, which was based on gross sales for the six months prior offered agents opportunities to win prizes ranging from free travel to the twoday partner event to a round of golf.

The winners included Eric Asquino of Advanced Corporate Services, Mannie Galon of G2 Solutions, Dale Stewart of CSG Affiliates and Bob Morrison of The Morrison Group.

Our experience is that by solidifying relationships in a friendly environment that we can do a lot more business and get along much better in alternate channel telecom, says WTG President and CEO Vince Bradley. Whether playing golf, networking on a cruise or just hanging out at the beach, sometimes you can get a lot more business done when you are enjoying yourself a little!

Held May 18-19, in Southern California, Tee & Sea was sponsored by WTG suppliers, such as Sprint Nextel Corp., Palm Inc., XO Communications Inc., Covad Communications Inc., New Edge Networks Inc., TelePacific Corp. and Broadwing Communications Inc. It began with an open house and provider expo followed by a lobster and champagne happy hour on the beach at Paradise Cove Beach Cafe in Malibu.

On day two, guests met at the Malibu Country Club nestled in the canyons of Malibu for their choice of golf tournament, a harbor cruise on Santa Monica Bay or a trip to Zuma Beach. Everyone met up at the country club for a reception and casino-style gambling. Dinner and wine were served under the stars followed by entertainment from comedian and magician Chris Blackmore.
