Samsung BCS Adds Wi-Fi to OfficeServ
Samsung Business Communication Systems (BCS) has released the latest addition to its OfficeServ suite, the IP-centric WLAN Solution for wireless convergence. Zultys Enhances IP PBX Software
Zultys Technologies has released version 3.0 of the software for its MX30 and MX250 IP PBXs. New features include an instant messaging bridge between the Zultys PBX and public IM services such as AOL, ICQ, Yahoo! and MSN; basic IVR functionalities; integration with Microsoft Exchange for unified messaging; and support for fractional PCM (T1 or E1) on the MX30 system. TalkSwitch Releases Entry-Level Analog Phone
Equipment-maker TalkSwitch has released the TS-80 phone, an entry-level, single-line analog phone that works with TalkSwitch PBX systems. The TS-80 features an adjustable LCD display, a speakerphone with six feature keys and caller ID display with call-logging capability. Other features include programmable line access codes, hands-free paging and intercom calling, data port and message-waiting indicator. The TS-80 costs $119. www.talkswitch.com
WCC Unveils U.S. BGAN Service
World Communication Center (WCC) is among the first to enable dealers to sell broadband global area network (BGAN) satellite telephones, equipment and services for use in the United States. Approved for sale in the United States by the Federal Trade Commission in May, BGAN enables Inmarsat users to connect to corporate networks, surf the Internet, send text messages, check e-mail and talk on the phone, all at the same time. BGAN can transmit data globally at speeds of up to half a megabit per second virtually anywhere. CommPartners Debuts IPTrunking
VoIP wholesaler CommPartners LLC unveiled its new IPTrunking service for businesses migrating to VoIP services, but still using IP PBXs or even legacy PBX and Key System equipment.
