Intelliverse announces Linksys Interoperability

Intelliverse, a provider of IP communications, announced full interoperability between Intelliverses hosted VoIP Solutions and the SPA family of Linksys IP phones. Although users of the Intelliverse solution already had the option of using any analog phone with their service, the Linksys phone offers a richer feature set to best utilize the service offerings, said the company.,

Info Directions Updates OnlineBill

Info Directions has released its latest OnlineBill electronic bill payment and presentment application. OnlineBill is integrated with operations and billing solutions, CostGuard.NET and CostGuard XG. It includes a GUI redesign trouble-ticket support, security tools and account management abilities. The update also gives end users the same account view as the service providers customer care representatives see in the CostGuard.NET/CostGuard XG operations and grants them account management capabilities such as adding billing contacts and credit card, debit or e-check payment methods.

Intelisys Launches Audex

Intelisys Communications Inc. announced the introduction of Audex, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution for telecom asset management. Its customer-facing design includes a new eventsticketing system, a new customer-branding feature and custom reporting. Audex also integrates inventory of locations and services with orders, pricing requests and a contract repository.

The Conference Group Introduces Free Recording

The Conference Group introduced free conference recording for all reservationless conference call customers. Conference leaders receive a summary via e-mail following each conference call, and if the conference is recorded, a link to an mp3 file will be included in the summary.

19Marketplace Launches New Brand

19Marketplace unveiled its new on-demand services brand, MySaaS Online. In partnership with Jamcracker, this new service enables telecom agents to sell on-demand business productivity applications to their customers. MySaaS Onlines suite of applications can either be private-labeled for direct resale, or sold through MySaaS Onlines referral program.

SimpleSignal Lets Businesses Add, Delete Bandwidth

SimpleSignal added a 60-second service provisioning enhancement to its SimpleSIP trunk product, enabling customers to add communications connections when they need them, via a Web browser. Additionally, dynamic bandwidth provides for simultaneous voice-data on the same T1, with voice given priority for high-performance QoS.

US Signal Upgrades Backbone, Adds Long-Haul Ethernet

Fiber-optic service provider US Signal announced that its long-haul fiber backbone routes have been upgraded to 10gbps capacity. In addition the company now supports long-haul Ethernet across its footprint. US Signals network includes more than 3,500 miles of fiber across Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin and is one of the largest in the Midwest. It offers SONET, DWDM and metro Ethernet transport services.

Amtel Gives VARs Control Over TEM Clients

Amtel Inc. announced it will offer its agents and VARs the ability to manage their own clients that have subscribed to Amtels TIMS hosted telecom expense management (TEM) platform for wireline and wireless services. TIMS, Telecom Information Management System, previously was sold by VARs for a percentage of the monthly revenue. With the introduction of Version 4.0, VARs can perform some of the professional services, such as downloading invoices, increasing their revenue. Agents access TIMS through a Web portal. Amtel charges the customer a small fee for the platform and the VAR bills for the other services.
