* MegaPath Networks Inc., a
virtual broadband network operator, reports a record increase of approximately
85 percent revenue growth for 2002. The company predicts it will achieve
positive operating cash flow by the end of second quarter.
The company also reports, as a
result of its cumulative partnerships and supplier agreements, its footprint
offers broadband access via about 7,500 central office equivalents in 95 percent
of major U.S. cities and secondary metro areas
* UniverCell Global Phone Rentals
Inc. and Telecom Italia Mobile (TIM) recently signed an agreement
granting UniverCell the rights to resell TIM GSM services to customers from the
United States. UniverCell will be able to provide local Italian GSM chips and
phone numbers to customers traveling to Italy. UniverCell has received the first
shipment of GSM chips and will begin offering Italian GSM service on the TIM
network this month. By negotiating reseller agreements with local GSM providers,
UniverCell can offer free incoming calls and outgoing rates of as much as 70
percent less than roaming with U.S.-based phones.

* Switch and Data announced Accretive
Networks, Limelight Networks and NTT/Verio Inc. have been added to the
company’s SingleCNXT-I program, which enables Switch and Data to act as a
distribution channel for ISPs that are housed in its colocation facilities.
Switch and Data represents ISPs through referral, agency or resale agreements.
Customers can initiate relationships
directly with ISPs in the colocation site, but also have the option to use
Switch and Data as a single point of contact to facilitate the transaction.
SingleCNXT-i delivers a packaged solution to meet Switch and Data customers’
colocation and Internet bandwidth needs by leveraging its existing ISP customer
relationships and streamlining the process of acquiring and maintaining a full
spectrum of Internet access services.

to help our ISP customers grow and to provide a packaged solution for those
customers that value a single interface and bill for their colocation and

* UNE-P reseller Z-Tel
Technologies Inc. has launched the Personal Voice Assistant (PVA), a new
voice-activated consumer calling, e-mailing and address book feature. Z-Tel
customers can manage their daily communications from any telephone or via the
Web using the service. Residential customers will receive this enhanced feature
free as part of the Z-LineHOME Unlimited local phone service package, available
through the Z-Tel dealer network or direct (except in Nevada and Connecticut).
The company plans to offer it to Z-LineBUSINESS customers in the second quarter.
