TC&C, LiteScape Combine Capabilities

VoIP software developer TC&C U.S.A. Inc. has incorporated its IP audio and video recording product into LiteScape Technologies Inc.s unified communications applications.

LiteScape says its channel partners are rolling out the companys applications in places beyond contact centers, such as in the financial and professional services industries, as RSS feeds for hurricane warnings and as cross-cluster directory access.

TC&C, meanwhile, is the company that created the CARIN VoIP call-recording system, which is Cisco-certified and one of the first call recorders for Ciscos IP video communications platform.,


ASC has released a new version of MARATHON EVOlite, its VoIP call-recording platform for SMBs; the most recent edition provides for both VoIP and TDM recording in a rack-mountable, 19-inch chassis.

MARATHON EVOlite is based on the Linux operating system. It was designed for organizations with up to 60 phone lines. The new version offers online storage of up to 175,000 recording hours and can be equipped with IOMEGA or DVD-RAM drives for long-term archiving. Mirrored and hotswap hard disks provide optimal data security.

The platform features a scaleable channel array, capturing and recording all customer interactions on up to 60 channels simultaneously. It can be configured to record, live-monitor and archive communications from one location.

HotRecorder Records Online Conversations

HotRecorder for VoIP touts itself as a recorder of Internet conversations for use by podcasters, online journalists, businesspeople and others. The spyware-free service works with a number of VoIP applications including Skype, Google Talk, AIM, Net2Phone, Yahoo! Messenger and FireFly. It converts the ELP format into WAV, OGG or MP3 files for playing and storage, and comes with voice mail for the Google and Skype platforms. HotRecorder for VoIP also features Emotisounds, such as kisses or claps that add dimension to conversations.

The trial version of HotRecorder for VoIP lets users record up to two minutes of conversation. A $14.95 upgrade to the premium version has no time constraints.

Telrex Supports Additional IP PBXs

Telrex, developer of VoIP call recording and monitoring software for SMBs, now supports the SIP-based IP PBXs from Pingtel, Fonality, TalkSwitch and Switchvox.

Telrexs CallRex software already supported systems from Cisco, Asterisk, Avaya, Nortel, Mitel, ShoreTel, 3Com, NEC, Siemens, Mitel, Zultys and Vertical, and SIP softswitches from BroadSoft, Sylantro and Tekelec.

Telrexs CallRex Professional version records and monitors IP phones; CallRex Express supports VoIP recording for five to 15 IP phones.
