FAIR ISAAC RELEASES DEBT MANAGER 6.0

Fair Isaac Corp., provider of analytics and decision technology, has released its Debt Manager 6.0, which is available as an inhouse system or can be hosted remotely from one of Fair Isaacs data centers.

Debt Manager, a collections and recovery software, helps businesses in telecommunications, financial services, utilities and government manage consumer debt. The new version includes daytime account processing, allowing collectors to fast-track collections and recovery processes instead of relying on nightly batch processing. Debt Manager 6.0 also offers Web collection screens providing collectors with a view of the debtor and related accounts. This is designed to minimize charge-offs and increases recoveries of all delinquent accounts while eliminating the need for multiple contacts and activities.

Debt Manager addresses all phases of the debt lifecycle from early collections to recoveries, agency placement, litigation, bankruptcy to asset repossession, management and disposal.

SIGMA DUAL PLATFORM FACILITATES WHOLESALE RELATIONSHIPS

Sigma Software Solutions has unveiled a dual customer care and billing platform designed to help VoIP wholesalers and resellers networks work more cohesively.

The twin package of Sigma OmniCare for VoIP Wholesalers and OmniCare for VoIP Resellers manages customer, order and revenue information on the same platform across multiple service partners. Because provider partners often run on different platforms, increasing the risk for operations problems, Sigma says it designed the OmniCare pair to give wholesalers and resellers a way to interoperate from the start.

TELARIX PROVIDES CARRIERS WITH NEW AUDIT MODULE

Telarix Inc., provider of interconnect business optimization software for telecom carriers, has released iXAudit, a software module that gives carriers an audit and dispute management system to streamline the validation of interconnect invoices and declarations, reconcile charges and manage settlements.

iXAudit is part of Telarixs cost-avoidance and revenue-assurance product, offering invoice tracking, analysis and dispute management capabilities. In addition, carriers will be able to immediately identify the costs and associated margins of their interconnect traffic and reconcile that information with the invoice or payments received from other carriers.

iXAudit also allows users to define specific financial thresholds to automatically identify and classify invoice discrepancies, quantifying and prioritizing each dispute based on the level of financial risk posed.
