TelePacific plans to go public soon, not long after it surpasses its goal of having 500,000 access lines, according to statements by company president and CEO Dick Jalkut at the CLECs 2006 Agent Kickoff Jan. 11 in Irvine, Calif.

The three-day event, which was held at the Fox Sports Grill in the Irvine Spectrum outdoor mall, drew dozens of agents masters, subs and independents for a state of the company report and previews of products and services TelePacific plans to roll out over the next year.

For example, TelePacific announced it will offer business lines and data on a dynamic T1. This will make way for agents to sell SIP trunks, IP Centrex and Web portals for managing services.

The CLEC also is running six promotions, including Flex TKO, which gives customers who buy a Flex T1 Line Package with a minimum configuration of eight lines and 768kbps data discounted MRC rates and up to 8,000 minutes of usage per line per month.
