Seattle-based master agent and reseller Cognigen
Networks Inc.
has introduced three new services it says will give business
customers and organizations alternatives to pricier communications services.
Cognigen recently debuted, an Internet portal offering real-time
delivery of price and availability estimates to prospective T1 and DSL clients;
CogniFast, a discount-priced, dial-up Internet access service supplying V92
functionality in most areas where it is offered in the United States and Canada;
and TollFreeISP, for prepaid global Internet access for travelers.

NTT/Verio Inc. has
launched a channel reorganization initiative that will combine the
small-to-medium enterprise (SME) and larger, midmarket-to-enterprise programs
under the viaVerio name. The initiative includes two programs. Enterprise Fast 50 allows new partners that secure new Verio business in
either enterprise hosting or access to earn up to 50 percent of the first months
revenue from each sale in addition to any regular commission payments. The Mega Migration program offers tiered bonus incentives to SME partners
that move shared, virtual private server or managed private server hosting
accounts to Verio. Both promotions continue through Dec. 31.

LDMI Telecommunications has
launched the LDMI Small Business Protection Package, a service available for
sale by its agents. The service includes necessary hardware, selfinstallation
kit with live telephone support, firewall pre-configuration, proactive
monitoring and management, uninterrupted technical support, routine maintenance
and upgrades. The package won approval from two security certification
organizations, the International Computer Security Association and the VPN

Wi-Fi Guys LLC,
a provider of managed hotspot solutions for the hospitality industry, announced
its services are available via agents. The company promises unlimited use of highspeed wireless Internet access that
is up to 50 times faster than dial-up, toll-free technical support, no timeouts
or dropped connections during inactivity or downloads, browser-based software
and Wi-Fi (802.11b or g) wireless Internet access in hotel common areas such as
lobbies, restaurants and pool areas.

LiveVault Corp.,
a provider of online backup and recovery solutions for business servers, has
announced several additions to its partner program, which offers VARs, ISVs and
systems integrators a recurring revenue stream, and sales and marketing support.
New LiveVault independent software vendor partners include Jack Henry &
Associates, Applied Systems and SYSPRO. New VAR partners for the quarter include
CBE Technologies, Decisive Business Systems, Future Tech Enterprise Inc.,
Getronics, ICS Advantage, International Computerware, Puget Sound Data Systems,
Sterling Networks, Troubador Ltd., Valerent, and Warren Systems Group Inc. The
LiveVault Partner Program offers VARs, ISVs and systems integrators a recurring
revenue stream, and sales and marketing support.
