OSG Billing Services (Booth 314) announced an agreement to manage invoice presentment and distribution services for Citynet, an integrated communications provider.
Citynet provides telecommunication services to wholesale and retail customers in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets in Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, as well as wholesale carrier-grade connectivity to 17 other states in the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest.
Citynet is outsourcing its invoice production with OSG Billing Services to improve print-and-mail efficiencies and reduce postage costs, the company said. To enhance customer service, the company will be employing the OSG View product, a customer service support tool that will give the companys CSRs instant access to an exact copy of the invoice. This empowers the provider to offer a fast resolution to their customers billing concerns.
In addition, Citynet will utilize OSG Dynamic Messaging, an online application that uses simple Word processing commands to create messages with graphics or photographs on the front page of the invoice. OSG Dynamic Messaging provides advanced marketing and communications opportunities through the invoice.
Citynet is pleased to begin a new relationship with OSG Billing Services, said Matthew Thornton, vice president of systems development of Citynet. They provide us with quick turnaround on all our customer bills. We have also found that human error is removed and that our postage costs have been reduced by working with OSG Billing Services.
Providing value to customers is essential to Citynet, said Ron Whaley, vice president of sales and marketing of OSG Billing Services. Quick turnaround on production, as well as reduced postage costs, will go a long way in helping the company enhance its service and realize better cash flow.
