The entrepreneurs behind Clickonclyde.com, a variable data Web portal that started so real estate agents could order high-end marketing tools online, are expanding their services to include telecom agents. The idea is to “offer a Web-based marketing portal that would host business collateral and custom direct mail pieces as a value-added service to communication customers,” says Jayson Jones, president of Clickonclyde’s parent company, PageMasters Inc. “It’s a more professional template than they can deliver on their own.”
The advent of the Do Not Call list has made many peoples’ jobs more difficult, and Clickonclyde aims to ease that pain. The company produces marketing materials such as direct mailings - right now, just for real estate professionals, but with plans to move into the telecom agent market. Jones explains that the mailings can be cards measuring 6×9 inches, with full bleed featuring “lots of personalized, one-to-one content.” The cost of data, postage and printing and a 24-hour turnaround is around 89 cents a card, he adds.
Clickonclyde prints materials through its national distribution print network to guarantee a 24- to 48-hour turnaround time.
Other features include a contact manager that hosts customer data for promotions; an integrated HTML e-mail distribution system; customized graphics and copy; and 24- hour, year-round availability.
Jones says agents will benefit from using Clickonclyde because the materials will standardize their brands through one source. He adds the materials also will provide a controlled and consistent message to industry professionals, and says agents will be able to reduce the amount they spend on direct mail.
“The portal is a perfect platform for automating and delivering all printable and electronic collaterals to telecom companies down-line,” Jones says.
