The Agent Alliance, a buying consortia of telecom agents, announced at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Las Vegas it signed a five-year master contract with TNCI, a reseller and facilities-based VoIP provider based in Boston.
The agreement, effective April 1, allows all 14 member companies of the alliance to purchase the suite of TNCIs services under a common contract. New members inducted to the alliance automatically are covered by the agreement.

The agent alliance has three existing agreements with a diverse provider lineup that includes Qwest Communications International Inc., Global Crossing Ltd. and Premiere Global Services.
Four of the alliance members already were channel partners for TNCI. Several members of the alliance were doing business with TNCI and were pleased with the compensation, pricing and service, says alliance member Paula Silicato, vice president for Global Systems Telecom. We saw an opportunity to bring the rest of the alliance together.
The existing one-on-one agreements remain in place, but all new business produced will be on the new agreement. Silicato says the deal represents one of the best compensation plans in the industry and an outstanding revenue opportunity for TNCI.
Brian Twomey, president of TNCI, agrees. He says the companys previous experience with Agent Alliance member companies has produced high-quality and stable business. He said TNCI was comfortable extending the agreement to the entire group because each of the member companies has built a successful business.
The Agent Alliance will hold its June meeting in Boston to facilitate member meetings with TNCI.
