MobileIron Hires Symantec, Cisco Vet as Sales SVP

MobileIron's Greig PattonAnother channel person is on the move — this one at MobileIron, the enterprise mobility management provider.

Greig Patton is the company’s new senior vice president of worldwide sales. He brings more than 20 years of experience to the position.

Most recently, Patton was senior vice president of the Americas for Symantec’s Veritas (storage) division. His also had stints at Cisco, Brocade and other tech companies.

“Enterprise computing is going through a major upheaval as the old PC infrastructure is replaced with mobile operating systems and apps and I believe MobileIron has the best product in a market that is still at a very early stage,” said Patton. “I’m looking forward to helping our customers realize the potential that mobile computing can bring to their businesses.
