Westcon-Comstor Promotes Former Ingram Micro VP

Westcon-Comstor's Ken BastWestcon-Comstor has a new executive vice president dedicated to global partner management.

It’s Ken Bast, who the tech distributor hired last year to lead Comstor’s relationship with Cisco, which he will now expand.

Bast’s team is tasked with developing, deepening and driving Westcon-Comstor’s global vendor and customer relationships. In his new role specifically, Bast is responsible for driving growth across the company’s security, collaboration, networking, data center and cloud services.

Before joining Westcon-Comstor, Bast led his own IT channel consulting business and also spent 15 years at Ingram Micro, where he was vice president and general manager of the distributor’s Advanced Technology Division.
