Granite has teamed up with the MSP Wanify to give Wanify customers managed network services. In the meantime, Wanify will pursue customer acquisition. The companies were already partnering with one another, but the expanded deal puts Granite in charge of managed SD-WAN for Wanify’s SMB and enterprise clients.

“We are so excited to join forces with Granite Telecommunications on our SD-WAN practice,” Wanify co-founder Brian Robertson said. “Granite has proven to be a great partner and has helped us get to the next level with our clients.”

The companies both use VMware VeloCloud SD-WAN solutions; moreover, Wanify CEO Nick Prosser said the companies share the same customer-centric values.

Increased SD-WAN Support

Charlie Pagliazzo, Granite’s vice president of channels, said his company brings new support resources to the table for multilocation customers. For example, Granite offers a network operations center.

We recently compiled a list of 20 top SD-WAN providers offering products and services via channel partners.

“Plus, Wanify’s customers can take advantage of Granite’s full suite of products to further consolidate communications and connectivity services under one managed services provider,” Pagliazzo said.

Their agreement went into effect July 1.

Several figures in the agent community praised the deal, including Telarus co-founder Patrick Oborn.

Granite earlier this year launched a multivendor SD-WAN solution, which includes VeloCloud and Cisco Meraki.

Mike Palmer, Granite’s senior director of client development, said back in February that “SD-WAN isn’t one size fits all.”

“The truth is there are a range of solutions on the market that meet a range of needs. Rarely are they matched up correctly; in fact, many companies need more than one solution,” Palmer said.
