Aryaka, 8×8 Deepen Relationship Around SD-WAN, UCaaS, CCaaS

Cloud Agreement

Aryaka and 8×8 are making enhanced enterprise cloud communications available over SD-WAN.

The two companies just expanded their partnership to extend the new 8×8 Open Communications Platform throughout Aryaka’s managed SD-WAN service. As a result, customers who buy from both companies can use the Aryaka network backbone to access 8×8 points  of presence.

8×8 plans to resell Aryaka SD-WAN bundled with its own UCaaS and CCaaS products and services. Moreover, both vendors will co-market the blended offerings. Joint partners and customers can tackle a key use case: a “dynamic work-from-anywhere environment.”

“This is truly a 1+1=3 offering that creates the first truly global SD-WAN enabled UCaaS and contact-center-as-a-service (CCaaS) platform that addresses the digital transformation needs for enterprises of all sizes across the globe,” Aryaka CEO Carter said.

We recently compiled a list of 20 top SD-WAN providers offering products and services via channel partners.

The agreement supports the “new digital economy,” according to Ghassan Abdo, IDC‘s research vice president of worldwide telecom, virtualization and CDN.

“We are living through unprecedented times that require enterprises to accelerate the move to an online digital business and support massive growth of remote workers,” Abdo said.

An Expanded Relationship

8×8 CEO Vik Verma said his company and Aryaka have done joint deployments before; in fact, the companies first announced a partnership in 2017 to enhance 8×8 Communications Cloud with Aryaka’s private connectivity.

“Extending the 8×8 Open Communications Platform with SD-WAN will provide enterprises with highly stable and productive employee, partner, and customer interactions across the globe,” Verma said.

8×8 unveiled its Open Communications Platform in early June. The “work from anywhere” portfolio contains voice, chat and contact center features. In addition, the platform uses predictive analytics and AI-driven routing.

This is the second Aryaka technology alliance in two weeks. The San Mateo, California-based vendor announced a partnership with Asia public cloud giant Alibaba.

The company also landed sixth on Vertical System Group’s Carrier Managed SD-WAN Services leaderboard.
