Miller was CenturyLink’s president of wholesale, indirect and SME. She joined CenturyLink in November 2017 and was with Level 3 Communications for more than 11 years. CenturyLink completed its acquisition of Level 3 that same November.

Miller left CenturyLink on June 1 to pursue other opportunities, according to CenturyLink. We couldn’t reach her for comment.

Leadership Transition

Ed Morche, CenturyLink’s president of North America enterprise and public sector, is taking over leadership duties for the indirect organization. His role is expanding to include leading the indirect sales organization, in addition to North America enterprise and public sector.

This is a permanent position. Garrett Gee remains CenturyLink‘s channel chief.

Morche also was with Level 3 prior to joining CenturyLink. He was with Level 3 for 16 years and joined CenturyLink a month before the Level 3 acquisition closed.

“I am excited to lead CenturyLink’s indirect channel organization,” Morche said. “We are making significant enhancements to transform the customer journey and empower our partners for continued success. This year, we are investing in simpler products, more automation and faster delivery, all steps that make it even easier to do business together. I am confident these investments will provide our partners with a solid platform to grow from, with a focus on success and stability into the distant future.”

He also said he’s optimistic about the opportunities from having CenturyLink’s enterprise and indirect organizations “championed by the same leadership.”

“Now we can more easily take parallel steps with our partner community to drive more strategic deals,” Morche said. “Together, we’ll deliver better results for our mutual customers. The indirect channel is a top priority at CenturyLink and our partners have always been, and will continue to be, vital to our business.”

When we last spoke with Miller, she noted how CenturyLink is now the largest public internet service provider in the world. That means more opportunities than ever for partners in cloud communications, cybersecurity and more.
