“To support customers and partners, we made available Acronis Cyber Protect, [an] integrated data protection and security solution that combines multiple IT tools crucial for cyber protection of remote workloads,” he said. “An integrated solution is easier to use and more efficient from the perspective of time required to train IT professionals, deploy and manage the solution. Thus, we address the need to deploy remote workloads with limited resources.”

The primary challenge for businesses now is lack of budget, Magdanurov said. In the absence of funds, companies sometimes choose to deprioritize cybersecurity, increasing risk.

“Most home networks have only basic security,” he said. “In this environment, it is essential to ensure proper security, even if it comes at an additional cost. The investments make sense – protecting remote business now and enabling remote work in the future – as remote work is not going anywhere.”

  • D&H Distributing announced new credit options to support partners during the crisis. The programs cater to the needs of the SMB resellers and MSPs. They include extended deadlines and terms up to 90 days, depending on the offering.
  • Zerto is offering its IT Resilience Platform free for six months to organizations dealing firsthand with the crisis, such as local health care, government and food supply organizations. The platform converges disaster recovery, backup and workload mobility.
