Asavie Unveils Unified Endpoint Management Solution

Endpoint Management

Asavie on Tuesday launched its new Asavie SD Edge for unified endpoint management within enterprise SD-WAN.

This clientless service allows enterprises to extend their private networks and SD-WAN to secure mobile and IoT endpoints. It offers enterprise CIOs uniform visibility and control.

Remote workers get the same secure experience as if they were in the office, the company said.

Mick Higgins, Asavie‘s senior vice president of product, tells Channel Partners that Asavie SD Edge will create new potential revenue streams for his company’s service provider partners.

“It will enable them to win a larger portion of the digital transformation budget by bringing mobile and IoT assets under the management of the SD-WAN to have all fixed and mobile assets controlled from one point,” he said.

We recently compiled a list of 20 top SD-WAN providers offering products and services via channel partners.

Asavie SD Edge gives MSPs a competitive advantage over rival solutions, Higgins said. MSPs can centrally manage and secure all their distributed digital assets, and configure and enforce policies uniformly, he said.

“Until now, mobile and IoT endpoints have remained as isolated silos of networks and management systems outside the visibility and control of the SD-WAN,” he said. “Now more than ever, the CIO office needs a holistic approach which unifies the management and protection of both fixed and mobile assets under a single interface.”

“For CIOs seeking to unify the management of endpoints across all areas of their digital business, Asavie’s SD Edge solution is an important enabler to secure mobile and IoT devices, which until now have been outside the enterprise WAN, which delivers SD-WAN 2.0 solutions to enterprise customers through a global network of service provider partners,” said Sunil Khandekar, founder and head of Nuage Networks from Nokia. “This creates new opportunities for service providers delivering SD-WAN as a service to expand their offering beyond the fixed branch network and hybrid cloud to include mobile and IoT use cases.”
