A former TPx Communications partner employee is joining the Los Angeles-based company.
Steve Farmiloe will serve as director of West channel sales for the managed services provider. Channel managers in TPx’s West region will work under Farmiloe’s guidance.
Farmiloe worked five years at TPx partner Top Speed Data Communications, where he led the company’s business-model pivot from circuit sales to 65% managed cloud services. The firm earned multiple accolades from TPx, including eighth best sales performer in 2017. Farmiloe founded the ATaaS Group – which helps telecom brokers, VARs and MSPs grow – before moving to TPx.

“TPx and I have known Steve for many years as both a sales and channel leader,” said Ken Bisnoff, senior vice president of sales at TPx Communications. “We’re very fortunate to have him join the team as we take the next steps in our managed-services transformation.”
The company rebranded from TelePacific Communications in 2017 as part of an initiative to move beyond its traditional connectivity focus and grow its managed services footprint.
“The goal of this transaction is the acceleration of TPx’s healthy growth in the high-growth managed services markets that form the bulk of our business,” TPx’s senior vice president of marketing said.
