Dell Technologies is rewarding Tech Data partners with more opportunities.
Tech Data this week announced financial incentives for the Tech Data TechSelect community. The two partners that grow their revenue the most with the Dell Client Solution Group (CSG) over the next five months will earn $4,000 from Dell. The same goes for the two highest growth partners selling from the Dell Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG).
TechSelect partners must earn at least $50,000 with Dell and grow at at least 20% year-over-year to earn the new incentives.
“We’re capitalizing on growth in the first half and pouring some gasoline on that for the second half,” said Scott Willock, Dell’s senior director of global distribution.
TechSelect is a group of 419 IT resellers that serve SMB and midmarket customers. Tech Data is the fastest growing distribution partner in an already hot Dell channel, according to Willock. He said indirect sales are responsible for 35,000 new customers.
“35,000 new customers to Dell Technologies’ family is really remarkable,” he said. “And a lot of those were added because of partners like yourselves — getting us into places that that we can’t get into as well.”
Willock spoke at the fall TechSelect conference in Orlando, where Tech Data executives have been praising the partner community for their growth. Tech Data Americas president Joe Quaglia told partners earlier in the week that the company embarked on its largest investment after completing its Avnet acquisition. The distributor is committing to increase automation, optimize more next-gen solutions, deepen its coverage model and develop its new “single door” operating system.
“We believe that as we come out of this transformation, we’re going to be bigger, better, stronger, faster, and deliver a better quality of service to our partner community,” Quaglia said.
