Broadvoice expanded its Midwest channel presence.
Michael Otting will serve as as Midwest regional channel manager for the Los Angeles-based unified communications provider. He’ll oversee North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Some of the affected partners have established a relationship with Otting at some point in his multiple-decade telecommunications career.
“I’m very excited to be with an industry-leading company that is focused on delivering an amazing experience for their people, customers, and partners,” Otting said. “I look forward to working very closely with our partners to provide education and strategy to help grow their business.”
Otting most recently led sales at the business phone system provider Unified Global Solutions. Other recent employers are Net2Phone and NetStandard, but his longest tenure was at Birch Communications. Otting worked in multiple positions at the communications provider, including inside sales, outbound sales and telesales. He has primarily worked out of the Kansas City, Missouri, area.
“We are thrilled to welcome Michael to the team. As the Midwest region continues to experience exponential growth, Michael’s deep well of support and resources will provide increased value for our partners in the area,” said Kim McLachlan, senior vice president of sales and marketing.
McLachlan joined Broadvoice this summer as well. She joined in June after a 23-year stint at West Corporation. Broadvoice has also recently hired channel managers for Texas, the Midwest and the Northeast.
