RapidScale, the managed and hybrid managed cloud services provider, has hired Bo Phillips, previously with Ritter Communications, TierPoint and Windstream, as partner experience manager for Kansas and Arkansas.
Phillips will focus on supporting partners in the region and will report to Andrew Laughter, RapidScale’s director of channel sales for the East region. He brings 15 years of telecom and cloud experience, particularly around cloud services, IaaS, data center colocation, hosted solutions, VoIP, MPLS, archiving and networking.
“Together, RapidScale and Cox Business are a one-stop-shop for network connectivity and managed cloud services,” Phillips said. “Being a part of this team will give me an edge as I help my partners reach higher levels of success. The partners in this region work incredibly hard to meet the growing demand for cloud solutions and I’m here to provide the expertise and guidance in cloud solution selling to help them close more deals.”

Phillips will help his partners identify more business opportunities to increase cloud revenue.
Prior to joining RapidScale, Phillips was Ritter’s director of sales for hosted and virtual services, and before that he was a senior solutions consultant with TierPoint and Windstream.
