Calabrio, a provider of AI-driven analytics, has acquired Teleopti, a workforce management (WFM) software provider headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.

The combined company will continue to cultivate its large partner ecosystem, enabling partners with the “most complete, scalable workforce engagement offering internationally,” according to Calabrio. Together, the companies will provide the “broadest cloud offering on the market,” it said.

Financial details of the acquisition weren’t disclosed.

Ross Daniels, Calabrio’s vice president of strategic platforms, tells Channel Partners the acquisition is “great news” for Calabrio and Teleopti resellers as “we’ll provide the market a powerful combined offering for new and existing customers.”

“In addition to strong partnerships with Avaya and Cisco, Calabrio and Teleopti have important relationships with cloud contact center providers 8×8, Amazon Connect, Five9, Serenova, Twilio and Talkdesk,” he said. “And with the companies coming together, our global footprint in sales, marketing, product, development and customer success grows exponentially.”

Calabrio’s customer experience intelligence suite embeds analytics and visual discovery into everyday tools, including WFM, allowing users in every role to consume and act upon data with less effort and more precision, according to the company.

“Teleopti and Calabrio have been hyperfocused on meeting and exceeding the needs of the market for a combined 35 years,” Daniels said. “Bringing the two companies together provides us with an opportunity to scale and more importantly, continue to bring best-of-breed solutions to the global customer experience market. Notably, it allows us to bring together our WFM products into a single best-in-class WFM solution inside the Calabrio One suite, creating a powerful combination for companies looking for scalable WFM as part of a fully integrated suite.”

In the coming months, Calabrio plans to fully integrate the best of the companies’ WFM products into a single WFM product within the Calabrio One suite, he said.

“Similarly, we’ll be focused on bringing together the best of Calabrio’s and Teleopti’s partner programs to deliver value to our combined partner ecosystem,” Daniels said.

“This acquisition opens up tremendous opportunity for customers and partners,” said Olle During, Teleopti‘s CEO. “Both Calabrio and Teleopti have been committed to providing innovative products that create positive environments for employees where they can grow, remain engaged and be productive. We look forward to continuing on this path together, delivering value and an outstanding level of service that ensures customer success.”
