A longtime friend of Telarus is joining the master agent as an employee.
The Utah-based company announced Tuesday that Molly Lozano is its new senior partner development manager for southern California. Lozano will recruit new partners and help the rest expand their technology portfolios and take advantage of Telarus resources. Her partner base resides in the San Diego and Los Angeles areas.
“We have known Molly during her very successful career and are a huge fan of her work,” said Mike Bettilyon, area vice president, West, for Telarus. “She knows this business, she knows who the players are, and most of all, she knows the value Telarus brings to our partners.”
Bettilyon said the two fastest growing technologies are cybersecurity and cloud contact center, but unified communications is the hottest in Telarus portfolio. And that’s where Lozano brings years of “overachievement.” She worked the last two years at Windstream as a channel manager. Her other previous employers include TelePacific (now TPx), Pac West, XO Communications and Ernest (now Fusion Connect).
She also ran a business coaching firm for seven years.
Lozano said she spent more than 15 years of her career managing Telarus partners. It seems those experiences sold her on the company.
“I have already met many Telarus partners during my tenure at Windstream and Ernest and am very excited to help them unleash their growth potential using all the 200 providers in our portfolio,” Lozano said. “I’m looking forward to the opportunity to help my partners expand beyond their traditional product lines, so they can benefit from the opportunities that cloud represents.”

She praised the Telarus portfolio for its depth.
“I can honestly say that I am proud to join their field sales team as the senior partner development manager in southern California. With Telarus’ acquisitions of CarrierSales and VXSuite, the amount of expertise they have in cybersecurity, contact center, mobility, colo and the cloud is unparalleled,” she said. “Add to that Telarus’ patented real-time quoting system, fiber map lookup app for iPhone, free network monitoring, hosted voice monitoring, UCaaS, and SD-WAN product matrices, and demand [for next] generation technology, and I’ll have plenty to talk about when I meet with new and existing partners in Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego counties.”
