The face of AT&T’s (booth 531 and title sponsor) channel program is moving to a new place in the company.
Zee Hussain, who has steered AT&T Partner Solutions since 2017, will work in AT&T’s Global Business unit as senior vice president of finance, health care and industry solutions.
He had been serving as senior vice president and channel chief of AT&T Partner Solutions. AT&T named Stacey Marx, a 23-year veteran of the company, to be Hussain’s successor.
Anne Chow, president of AT&T National Business, said both Marx and Hussain have a great opportunity in front of them.
“Zee’s contributions have been integral to growing our indirect channel program’s strategy and success. We challenged him to take our programs and partnerships to the next level, and he made this a reality by helping to drive agility and innovation across AT&T Partner Solutions,” Chow said. “We are also excited to welcome Stacey as the new leader of our indirect channel programs. Her proven experience in sales leadership with small and medium businesses coupled with her strategic and operational successes across numerous markets will be a tremendous asset for us. I have every confidence that she will help take AT&T Partner Solutions into the future, expanding our partnerships and collective growth.”

We profiled Hussain’s steady rise rise through the ranks at AT&T last fall.
He replaced Brooks McCorcle in 2017 and oversaw a realignment of Partner Exchange, Alliance Channel and ACC Business – AT&T’s three indirect channel programs.
Marx had been serving as vice president of national business for the central region. She brings experience leading sales for fiber solutions, call centers and business acquisition solutions.
“Stacey’s proven sales and operational leadership experience will be key to supporting growth and innovation across our third-party distribution channels,” the company wrote in its Tuesday announcement.
Anne Chow, to whom Hussain was reporting, will also oversee Marx’s efforts. Chow played a key role in the channel alignment.
Marx’s appointment is the second major channel personnel news for AT&T this year. Sara Straley succeeded Randall Porter as the new leader of the AT&T Partner Exchange program as Porter moved to a role on the direct side.
