Intelisys signed a new contact center vendor two weeks ago. Also ScanSource’s acquisition of Canpango will boost Intelisys’ CRM chops, which will in turn help partners improve customer-to-customer relations.
Jeff Storey, president and CEO of the telecommunications company, spoke during the morning keynote about the “fifth digital revolution” The new epoch goes beyond computing and into data-driven technologies like IoT and artificial intelligence.
Asked what he hopes to accomplish in the upcoming years, his answer was just as focused on partner and customer relations as it was with technological advancement.
“I would hope that five years from now, you’d invite me back, and the message that you want to tell me is you love working with CenturyLink, that we have delivered, that we have transformed our business, that you trust our business because you know that we’re going to deliver for you,” Storey said.
Intelisys announced several personnel changes Wednesday. We wrote about Justin Marano, whom the company promoted to vice president of sales for the Northeast.
His appointment followed Rick Ribas’ July move to senior vice president of national partner sales.
