Infiniti provides AWS and Azure cloud, hybrid-cloud and on-premises cloud services, as well as software design and development. Financial details of the acquisition weren’t disclosed.
Bob Hollander, InterVision’s senior vice president of services and business development, tells Channel Partners that along with Infiniti’s AWS advanced consulting and competencies in storage, government and education, InterVision gains a “team of expert cloud architects and technical specialists that can handle large and complex public cloud services.”
“These complement InterVision’s current capabilities with on-prem, managed hosting and professional services,” he said. “We can now deliver cloud services on any premise[s]. These new capabilities will carry over to our channel partners who can offer these services to their customers.”
For InterVision’s channel partners that don’t have in-house cloud services capabilities, they can “turn to us as their trusted partner,” Hollander said.
“Additionally, InterVision plans to identify ways to create new cloud offerings for our channel partners,” he said. “As before, our mission is to help our partners transform their business as the market continues to evolve. Our partners will no longer have to pass on client needs around cloud and will now be able to leverage the InterVision-Infiniti combination to stay relevant when and where they need help.”

This past spring, InterVision acquired Bluelock, adding disaster recovery-as-a-service (DRaaS) to its portfolio. And it previously acquired Netelligent, an MSP and hosting provider, and Independent Technology Group (ITG), a provider of IT services, including networking, storage and security.
“InterVision is committed to growing its channel business by focusing on solving their clients’ most pressing business challenges, one of which is leveraging the power and scale of public cloud,” Hollander said. “We anticipate Infiniti teaming with our channel partners to help with their clients’ move to hyperscale cloud specifically as it relates to rehosting, replatforming and rearchitecting solutions. We also have plans for an enhanced managed-service offer for cloud based on skills and technologies Infiniti brings to the table. ”
Infiniti does not have channel partners, he said. With InterVision’s direct sales and channel teams, Infiniti can “immediately scale its cloud services business to reach new clients, geographies and industries,” he said.
