Working with hardware and software technology vendors and MSPs, MassComm designs, implements and supports custom networks to deliver a full suite of voice, data, risk management and security offerings to midsize global enterprise customers in the financial, legal, health care, technology, education and government sectors.
“This acquisition adds a well-run company with a customer-first mindset and an impressive track record of growing revenue to Windstream,” said Layne Levine, president of Windstream Enterprise and Wholesale. “Mass Communications customers now will have access to Windstream Enterprise’s deep portfolio of networking solutions and cloud-based services, including SD-WAN Concierge and OfficeSuite.”
Windstream said MassComm’s “innovative services and customer base with Windstream’s larger CLEC operations and fiber network will enable the combined company to increase its competitiveness by expanding its portfolio of services, generating efficiencies that benefit customers, and serving more customers over its own facilities where it can.”
MassComm is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Windstream. MassComm CEO Darren Mass is now president of resale for the company’s enterprise and wholesale business unit.
