PRESS RELEASE — LAGUNA HILLS, California – February 13, 2018 – The application deadline for the third annual Cloud Girl Rising: Women to Watch Awards has been extended to Friday, February 23, 2018.
The Women to Watch Awards program is a collaboration of Cloud Girls, a not-for-profit consortium of women evangelizing the cloud, and Women in the Channel (WiC), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of female channel leaders in technology.
Winners will be announced April 19, 2018, at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Las Vegas.
The Cloud Girl Rising Awards will be given to women who have demonstrated innovation, solution-orientation and thought leadership in the cloud space in 2017 in two categories:
“The Cloud Girl Rising award was created to inspire more thought leadership and forward movement by women involved in cloud,” said Jo Peterson, founder of Cloud Girls and vice president of converged cloud and data services at Clarify360. “We want to honor women who have made a difference in the space while encouraging more women to step forward and join the conversation.”
The awards program is open to women working across the spectrum of products, tools and technologies that make up the cloud ecosystem.
Women eligible for these awards are in sales, marketing or engineering roles at a channel partner organization — agent, VAR or MSP. To apply, visit https://www.channelpartnersonline.com/cloud-girls-rising-women-to-watch/. All applications must be submitted by February 23, 2018. Applications will be reviewed and scored by board members of Cloud Girls and Women in the Channel.
The winners will receive a trophy, which will be presented on the expo stage at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo, along with announcements on the Channel Partners’ and Cloud Girls’ websites, an award logo for their websites and email signatures, and a one-year complimentary membership in Cloud Girls.
