Communications provider Telesystem has a new partnership with a master agent — its second within a week.
TBI has joined the Telesystem partner program as an “elite agent.” Eight other companies share that title, including the recently signed Telarus. The group enjoys the highest residual payouts and bonuses in the Telesystem program.
The agreement helps Telesystem to expand its sales footprint and TBI to expand its product portfolio. Bruce Wirt, Telesystem’s vice president of channel sales, said his company has very complementary security and aggregation services.
“TBI not only brings us the addition of thousands of partners nationwide, but their focus on accountability, agent development, and selling on focused value propositions closely aligns with the Telesystem culture,” Wirt said. “I have a lot of respect for the organization that Geoff [Shepstone] has built, and the evolution of the TBI sales environment that closely matches providers to opportunities based on value propositions.”
Teleystem offers voice, network, cloud and managed services, colocation and security. Mike Onystok, TBI’s vice president of omnicenter sales, training and marketing, says Teleystem has differentiating features.
“Telesystem brings a unique offering to TBI partners, not just in being the MSO (multiple service operator) for particular areas throughout the country, but also focusing on secure internet, namely DDoS mitigation,” Onystok said. “They are a cost-efficient solution as they include a proactive DDoS protection service on each purchased data circuit. A unique differentiator for sure, and another great choice for hosted voice, voice products and data services. We’re excited to bring them into the TBI portfolio.”
TBI’s top partners will go on a Telesystem-sponsored trip in 2019.
Telesystem announced the hiring of an elite agent coordinator a month ago. Laura Kennedy will manage support for the nine elite agents in Telesystem’s program.
