The distributor on Thursday announced a supplier partnership with the San Francisco-headquartered provider. Intelisys gets a new portfolio of contact center as a service (CCaS) products, and Talkdesk expands its market reach through Intelisys sales partners. It’s an important strategy for Talkdesk, which says it devotes one-half of its resources to research and development.
Talkdesk describes its offering as easy to set up and catering “to all personas in any contact center.”

Gartner lists Talkdesk among its 11 CCaaS Magic Quadrant vendors. The other competitors are Five9, NiceinContact, Genesys, BroadSoft, Aspect, West, TeleTech, Evolve IP, Serenova and 8×8.
Talkdesk offers an enterprise app store that customers use to add features to the contact-center solution, like voice analytics and workforce optimization. The company began in 2011.
“We are excited to partner with Intelisys,” said Jon Heaps, Talkdesk’s vice president of channels. “Talkdesk is challenging the industry status quo and offers both customers and partners phenomenal technology to provide a best-in-class experience.”
Heaps spoke to Channel Partners last month about Talkdesk’s vision for contact centers. He says the company has been increasing its reliance on the channel. Heaps’ goal is for the channel to constitute 60 percent of the company’s sales. Talkdesk has multiple master agent and distributor partnerships, including Telarus.
Intelisys recently added a mobility management provider to its supplier partner program.
