Kennedy has been with Telesystem since 2016 and is based out of its West Chester, Pennsylvania, office. Previously a member of the sales support team, she now will serve as dedicated support for Telesystem’s partner program, coordinating administrative and marketing resources.
“Telesystem’s presence in the national channel has been quickly gaining momentum,” she said. “I look forward to continuing that growth by building and maintaining relationships with our trusted Elite Agent partners.”
Telesystem said its partner program “empowers regional channel managers (RCM) to work consultatively with partners and their customers.” Kennedy’s role allows the managers to focus on sales-related activity, while she will plan and execute co-hosted activities, evaluate success rates, produce joint-marketing collateral and onboard new agents, among other duties.
“Laura is an exceptionally talented individual that I have watched grow and thrive over her first two years at Telesystem,” said Bruce Wirt, Telesystem’s vice president of channel sales. “This position is vital to the success of our rapidly growing Elite Agent Program, which saw the addition of four national master agents in [the fourth quarter of] 2017. Laura is extremely well organized, a diligent and goal-oriented worker, and I have no doubt that she will develop positive relationships with her peers in the channel.”
Last week, Telesystem announced it promoted Matt Mishler, who has been with the company for more than 20 years, to its indirect agent program as a regional channel manager in the northern Midwest.
