Hogberg previously served as vice president of channel sales at Peak10 + ViaWest. During his tenure at ViaWest, he built the firm’s channel strategy. He has more than 17 years of IT sales experience in cloud and data centers.
“Avant has a reputation for expertise in channel sales enablement for next-generation IT services,” he said. “If I can do one thing, that will be to enable the channel partners in the West with the skills and tools to sell an expanding portfolio of IT services.”
At Avant, Hogberg will help the company accelerate its West Coast expansion initiatives, including local channel sales enablement and regional customer marketing efforts. He will report to Jennifer Gallego, executive vice president of channel sales for the West.
“Bringing Isaiah on board is a great example of how we are continuing to invest in cloud-savvy experts,” Gallego said. “We were looking for the highest caliber person to accelerate our growth in the West Coast. We found that person in Isaiah. He comes to us with deep roots in the partner community — combined with a wealth of cloud, colocation and technical expertise.”
Hogberg’s background also includes positions with Idearc and Hosting.com.
“I’m happy to say that we continue to experience strong growth, doubling our channel’s UCaaS sales and tripling SD-WAN sales in the past year,” said Ian Kieninger, Avant’s CEO. “We are doubling down on our investment in channel resources to further accelerate these sales. With Isaiah joining our team, the West Coast will have a local resource with deep experience in assisting partners to further accelerate their sales.”
