FiberNet Direct Ethernet Access Premium delivers a high-speed fiber optic connection directly to the customer location. FiberNet Direct joins the growing ranks of AireSpring providers supplying advanced carrier-grade Ethernet services across the United States. They can fulfill any network need with high-speed connectivity, ideal for quickly moving large volumes of data, with FE line rates from 10 Mbps to 10 Gbps, and GE 100 Mb to 1,000 Mb, AireSpring said.
Daniel Lonstein, AireSpring’s chief operating officer, tells Channel Partners the inclusion of FiberNet Direct into the AireSpring mesh network “increases the connectivity options for business fiber that are available for our partners to quote overall, and especially in the states of Florida and Texas.”
“The primary advantage is that FiberNet has over 135,700 on net, or near net buildings in metro areas thus deepening our fiber footprint in Florida,” he said. “AireSpring has built a large national mesh network comprised of over 20 nationwide and regional Tier 1, 2 and 3 level carriers. This enables an exponential number of connectivity options that our partners can offer to their clients. Furthermore, we provide one-stop, instant quoting via our QuoteSpring real-time, on-line quoting tool. Our partners can log on and see what is available in hundreds of thousands of addresses and buildings across the nation.”
This addition likely will open up more connectivity options throughout Texas and Florida, allowing AireSpring partners to provide more competitive quotes to all types and sizes of businesses in more metro areas of these states, Lonstein said.
“This provides (a) compelling alternative fiber option in addition to major carriers such as AT&T to provide diversity for clients,” he said.
AireSpring’s interconnected carrier and broadband partners now total more than 20, with an increasing number of fiber-lit buildings, forming part of one nationwide IP network. They join the lineup of carriers used to deliver AireSpring’s managed services with one bill, one point of contact and 24/7 AireNMS network monitoring.
