SecurityFirst, the data-centric security software provider, is bulking up its channel team.
The company has hired Richard Vaughn and Nicholas Waddell as directors of channel sales. They are charged with creating new partnerships and building a strategy for SecurityFirst’s DataKeep, which the company says “dramatically simplifies data protection while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and data privacy mandates.”
The new hires have a combined 65 years of experience in the industry. Vaughn has spent the majority of his career at Toshiba America Information Systems, where he was director of channel sales for 12 years. Earlier this year, he took a role as director of distribution channel sales for TP-Link North America, according to his LinkedIn page.
Waddell also has been in telecom and IT sales for a long time. His career includes five years at Ingram Micro, where be built vertical market channel programs, nearly tripling the business in four years, SecurityFirst said. He also spent nine years at Panasonic and a couple of years at Mitel. Most recently, he was channel sales director, consulting and professional services, at security provider Cylance.
SecurityFirst touts comprehensive onboarding, support and education in its channel program, where its partners “are fully equipped to address today’s complex security and compliance challenges.” The company aims to help its partners build new revenue opportunities and forge long-lasting relationships with their customers.
AT&T, CenturyLink and Connectwise are among those adding drama to telecom, IT and the channel since last fall. https://t.co/YTBVQGjWqt
