Lauren Shapiro has resigned from her position as PlanetOne Communications‘ president, while Ted Schuman’s title is now president/CEO.
Shapiro joined the master agent in 2010 as vice president of operations. In 2013, she was promoted to president. She resigned from PlanetOne this month.
Shapiro wouldn’t tell Channel Partners why she decided to resign.
“I’ve had the privilege these past seven years to build an amazing team and see them flourish and exceed their goals,” she said. “I have accomplished my goal as a leader knowing they will continue to take PlanetOne to new heights. I cherish the relationships I’ve built with our partner and supplier community, many of whom have become good friends. I am looking forward to my next seven years and breaking even more records and pushing limits to new heights. I know that my core value of impeccable integrity and my passion for achieving unthinkable results will write a great chapter in my career story!”
Shapiro said during her tenure, PlanetOne grew more than 400 percent, she built a team from six to 16 members, the company opened its Southern California office, cloud revenue grew by more than 500 percent, and its Preferred Provider Program grew from eight to 23 providers.
“(We) built an amazingly talented team of professionals who will carry on my vision of integrity and no boundaries in supporting our partner community, she said.
PlanetOne is “growing faster than ever in the company’s history, celebrating 25 years of success,” according to the company. PlanetOne is hiring across the board — from channel account managers to sales engineers to senior level executives.
