AireSpring has hired Ralph Romero, previously with TPx, as vice president of customer operations, charged with further building the company’s customer operations team, finding new ways to advance its UCaaS position, and supporting its expanding managed services and voice products.
Romero has spent his career in telecom and software development, building experience in hosted-voice operations and customer service. He helped AT&T launch its DSL division, and later worked at Telekenex, where he grew their operations and support internationally. He most recently was TPx’s senior director of managed services and operations, where he played a key role in designing, implementing and launching its suite of hosted PBX products and managed services.
“Building scalable and measurable process efficiencies, team culture and atmosphere are important to me, always keeping an eye on customer experience enhancement and satisfaction,” he said.
Avi Lonstein, AireSpring’s CEO, said Romero has demonstrated leadership in developing and implementing hosted voice services, “along with an intense commitment to creating the best possible customer experience wherever he goes.”
