Mobile security provider Zimperium has unveiled its enhanced global partner program aimed at allowing partners to engage with their customers in a variety of ways — via traditional resale, referral or managed services models.
The zPartner Program includes the following key benefits: improved sales and technical enablement resources; enhanced margin on product and services revenue via revamped deal registration; and support for multiple go-to-market models, including managed services.
Tricia Bonora, Zimperium’s senior director of Americas channels, tells Channel Partners that initial efforts with the channel focused on establishing relationships in the mobile community with global service providers and device manufacturers.
“As mobile attacks become more advanced, we want to arm our partners with the resources they need to increase the value they provide to their customers,” she said. “The channel will be critical to Zimperium’s next phase of explosive growth. Zimperium will heavily leverage partners to improve coverage and competency around the globe, and particularly in the Americas. The market for mobile threat defense is accelerating every day, and Zimperium will embrace those partners that want to be at the forefront of this growth, and who want to help their clients defend themselves from the next generation of cyber threats.”
By establishing a strategic relationship with Zimperium, partners can increase the value they provide to their customers by giving them insight into their mobile devices. Partners also can use the company’s machine-learning-based approach to provide their customers with a number of features, including: enterprise mobile security services optimized for iOS and Android devices; in-app protection to mitigate mobile app security risk; and intelligent insight to stay on top of and eliminate mobile risks.
“The zPartner program will keep the barriers to entry low as the mobile threat defense market matures,” Bonora said. “The program is designed to empower partners to differentiate themselves in terms of pipeline build, revenue growth, and pre- and post-sales services capability. Zimperium is committed to supporting our partners who are early adopters of our solutions, who embed them in their unique as-a-service models and who help to build awareness to their clients on the significant risk associated with mobile devices.”
Zimperium will be selective in the partners it chooses to go to market with, and “judicious in the overall number of partners in the program so that we can be highly relevant to each other,” she said.
“Partners are often faced with a crowded market, both in terms of number of vendor partners, and competition [among] other solution providers,” Bonora said. “We want to help partners differentiate themselves by building unique solutions that allow them to provide the greatest value to their customers.”
