Ceridian, a global human capital management (HCM) technology company, has launched its Dayforce Software Partner Program (DSPP), a software partner community designed to help organizations connect other applications with its Dayforce HCM.
Jim Jensen, Ceridian’s senior vice president of global partners and alliances, tells Channel Partners this is the first time that third parties have had access to his company’s APIs, allowing them to build and integrate offerings that use Dayforce HCM data. Ceridian also maintains relationships with a select group of qualified service partners to assist Ceridian customers before, during and after implementation, he said.
Dayforce HCM customers benefit from access to certified API integrations from approved partners that can be easily used, resulting in improved communication, employee engagement and cost savings, Ceridian said.
“Customers may have made an investment in a competing technology,” Jensen said. “We’re embracing our competitive partners and making them part of our program; our end goal is to aid customers and provide them with a more seamless experience between our mutual products. As with most vendors in the industry, creating third-party integrations meant starting from scratch building custom integrations. Since each integration was so customized, this carried a cost for our customers and a barrier to entry for developers. Now with our Dayforce Software Partner Program, we’ve put the power in customers’ and partners’ hands and have given them the tools to develop low or no cost, repeatable integration.”
The program provides developers with comprehensive tools, step-by-step guides, libraries and overall support to educate and assist in the development of successful Dayforce HCM API integrations, according to the company. Partners then are able to actively promote and market these applications to customers alongside Dayforce HCM, it said.
“There’s never been a better time in the HCM space for third-party niche solutions to be created to enhance existing enterprise solutions,” Jensen said. “Dayforce partners benefit from this collaborative partnership with Ceridian through the ability to actively promote and market their own applications to customers alongside Dayforce HCM. Further, partners can offer customers a more seamless and unified experience thanks to the single connection between Dayforce and partner applications.”
Databasics provides cloud-based offerings to streamline expense reporting. The company’s integration with Ceridian and other accounting services provides organizations with better controls, streamlines processing time, and gives real-time analytics and visibility.
