A 15-year industry veteran, Reutzel will support sales partners and report to Eddie Acosta, director of partner sales for the Southwest region. He served as Peak 10 + ViaWest’s regional channel manager, working closely with VARs in the hybrid IT space, helping them transition to selling colocation, cloud and managed services.

“Over the last several years working in the channel, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with Intelisys and many of its sales partners,” he said. “I am excited to make the transition, and offer my sales partners the best solutions for their clients through Intelisys’ extensive supplier partner portfolio. I want my partners to benefit and accelerate their business growth with my experience in the technology space, allowing them to go deeper and wider into their client relationships.”

Prior to his tenure with Peak 10 + ViaWest, Reutzel held multiple senior leadership roles, including regional cloud channel manager with Birch, and business development manager with Windstream.

“Cory has built a trusted brand reputation in the channel, which is evidenced by the strong relationships he’s built with his partners,” Acosta said. “He is not your traditional channel manager; his knowledge of the hybrid cloud provider space and experience working with telcos and VARs as they transition to providing cloud and managed services will give an almost ‘unfair’ advantage to our partner community. As our partners take advantage of the convergence between the IT and telecom channels, Cory’s strategic support will enable massive growth and opportunities for our partner community.”
