Telarus is celebrating partnerships with two telecommunications providers Wednesday.
Nitel, the managed telecom service provider, credited Telarus as its first partner to reach $1 million in monthly billings. Nitel is also adding Telarus to its Elite Partner Program, a newly formed unit designed for master agents and distributors. Telarus is one of eight master agents/distributors in the program.
Taylor Castranova, Nitel’s vice president of channel sales and account development, says Telarus offers a strong set of tools and services needed to deliver advancements in networking and telecommunications.
“We place great value on the relationships we have with our master agents and distributors, and are pleased to welcome Telarus as an inaugural member of our Elite Partner Program,” said Castranova, “We will use this program to build on our mutual success and make it even easier for our channel partners to capture and create new opportunities.”
Telarus has been a Nitel partner since 2005 and says it has been its top performing master agent every year. Telarus CEO Adam Edwards praised Nitel’s support and resources for its partners.
“Their sales leadership bends over backwards to ensure that Nitel’s robust connectivity and telecom solutions are easy to find and price in our patented GeoQuote tool and iPhone app, they turn around manual quotes for complex services quickly, and they aren’t afraid to customize a solution to meet the specific needs of many industry verticals,” Edwards said. “We look forward to continued success with Nitel and their talented new executive team.”
Meantime, the Utah-based master agent added Rise Broadband to its partner program. Telarus agents can now sell Rise Broadband’s voice and data services. The agreement puts Telarus in Rise Broadband’s Alliance Program, which the company launched this past spring.
Rise Broadband is based in Colorado and says it aims to “close the digital divide” that exists between rural and previously underserved areas.“We are pleased to join Rise Broadband’s Alliance team because our partners are always looking for reliable service providers to enable internet, voice and data services in markets which are not well served,” Telarus Edwards said. “We value the fact that Rise brings an important service to enterprise as well as small business customers needing primary service or redundancy in both rural and urban markets.”
Fred Barnes, vice president of enterprise sales for Rise Broadband, says Telarus partners have access tools like GeoQuote, Telarus’ patented, real-time quoting technology, that keep them up to date on the availability and cost of Rise Broadband offerings.
