Andrew Bagrin, OmniNet’s founder and CEO, tells Channel Partners the rebranding puts the name more in line with what the company’s product entails.
“OmniNet provides a fusion of SD-WAN and FWaaS/ElasticUTM (unified threat management) in a combined resilient and secure network architecture that is omnipresent,” he said. “It provides a solid foundation to enhance all of the other applications and technology that are now more than ever relying on their customers’ internet connection. OmniNet’s future is to continue to provide that secure resilient foundation.”
OmniNet offers its security offering through its thousands of channel partners, which include VARs, independent agent/brokers, solution providers and MSPs.
“In 2016, we tripled the partner count and have accelerated the growth in 2017,” Bagrin said. “We expect to have over 2,500 direct MSP channel partners and access to well over 20,000 agents through master agents by the end of the year.”
OmniNet serves clients in retail, restaurants, health care, hospitality and professional services.
“As security continues to be a growing priority for businesses of all sizes, and especially smaller scale organizations, our partner program offers channel partners and resellers the opportunity to see high-volume and high-margin sales with our plug-and-play platform,” Bagrin said.
Last month, OmniNet entered an agreement in which Telarus agents will sell its security services.
