With more than 17 years in the telecommunications, data center and IT services industries, Lombardo has an “extensive background facilitating, developing and supporting successful partnerships” with agents, partners, VARs and MSPs, WTG said.
He previously was Allied Telecom’s national director of channel sales. He also has held executive positions with InfoRelay Online Systems, GTT and Core180.
“I am excited to start a new challenge within the industry and look forward to working with WTG’s agent partners and to further WTG’s growth plans in the channel,” Lombardo said. “I am fortunate to be joining such a respected company that prides itself on top quality service and relationship building.”
Lombardo reports to Julie Dzubay, WTG’s vice president of sales operations.
“William’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge has already made him a key addition to the WTG sales team,” Dzubay said. “We are very fortunate that we were able to find someone of William’s caliber to fulfill this role as we decentralize our sales force.”
