Intelisys partners can now sell a new suite of high-speed data network services.
The master agent on Wednesday announced a partnership with APX Net, which builds fiber-optic networks. Intelisys sales partners – including agents, solution providers, VARs, MSPs and integrators – now get access to APX’s tools that help build various types of wide area networks (WANs). APX Net, a Maine-based company, has been around since 2001. It bills itself as a “carrier-agnostic” communications service provider.
“We are thrilled to be working with Intelisys,” said Jeff Wood, president of APX Net. “As the country’s largest technology services distributor, Intelisys not only has a strong presence in our backyard, it has an extensive network of expert sales partners throughout the country. We are looking forward to working with them to deliver networks that can stand up to today’s bandwidth-hungry applications and high-availability requirements.”
Brandon Smith, who leads sales for Intelisys’ central region, says some of his company’s top partners requested that Intelisys team up with APX Net.
“Our sales partners are known as the industry’s top performers for good reason, and we deeply value their input and feedback …. and it’s a formidable foundation upon which to build a strong, long-lasting, beneficial relationship for all involved,” Smith said. “We look forward to many great achievements together, as we proudly welcome APX Net to the Intelisys Supplier Partner portfolio.”
Subsidium Technologies, one of the master agent’s partners, was a chief reference for APX Net. Ed Degenhart, Subsidium’s managing partner, says the new supplier will help his company’s customers implement complex Ethernet scenarios.
“Very often, our offerings with traditional carriers are skewed because of service gaps, lack of diversity, or expensive access,” Degenhart said. “APX Net allows us to abate those problems and deliver a competitive, resilient design that has consistently proven a valuable complement to SD-WAN deployments.”
